People first.
Story first.
Camera second.

A documentary studio for the things that matter.
Windswept Media is an Emmy Award-winning, minority-owned documentary and commercial production company founded in 2013 in Oklahoma City. We work with clients nationwide and internationally, from Fortune 500 brands to nonprofits and government agencies.
The work spans festival documentaries, brand films, commercials, and ongoing content partnerships. The common thread is always the same: we lead with the people and the story and let the camera serve them, never the other way around.

Iancu "Bunee" Tomlinson — Founder & Creative Director.
A film gave him a way back to people.
Iancu "Bunee" Tomlinson was born in Romania. He spent his first six years in an orphanage before being adopted and brought to the United States.
In middle school, he picked up a camera for the first time. Filmmaking wasn't just a hobby. It became a way to understand the world and to connect with the people in it. Purpose, on the other side of a lens.
That personal journey is the foundation of everything Windswept does.
It's why we lead with documentary principles. It's why we believe the most powerful brand story is almost always a human one. And it's why "people first" isn't a line on a website, it's the whole job.
Documentary truth
We listen until the real story shows up, then we shoot it.
Corporate polish
Cinema-grade craft, color, sound, and finish on every frame.
Story first
What does this make the audience feel? That's the starting point.
Camera second
Equipment serves the story, not the reverse.
